Find writing that analyzes classics like "Casablanca." Did "Casablanca" make Humphrey Bogart's career, or did Humphrey Bogart make "Casablanca" the classic that it is? Read examinations of troubling and psychologically complex films, such as "American Beauty." What kinds of societal statements is it making? What is it about the film "Braveheart" that struck a cord in the American psyche, prompting it to still be quoted widely today?

In this section, you will encounter essays that dissect the themes of popular films like "Fight Club" and "Pulp Fiction." What made "Pulp Fiction" so novel for its time? How did it, in many ways, influence films that came after it? Discover writing that explores the films of a particular actor or actress. Is Julia Roberts better suited to more intellectual, understated roles like that in "Mona Lisa Smile," or to grittier, tougher roles like her part in "Erin Brockovich?" Is Anthony Hopkins best as a serious, literary actor, or are his best roles those in "Hannibal" and "The Silence of the Lambs?"

Read analyses of various film versions of the same story. What was ingenious about Baz Luhrmann's modern take on "Romeo and Juliet?" How did his version compare with earlier, more traditional films based on the same play? How is "The Hunger Games" film reminiscent of "Lord of the Flies?" Uncover expositions on why "Saving Private Ryan" either should or shouldn't be showed to public high school students. Is its realism a reason to share it with young people or a reason to censor it? Whatever the film and the angle you mean to take, you will find essays here to inspire you and to help you organize and craft your own paper on the subject of "Movies."

One of the most popular pastimes today is movie-going,with what started as moving pictures shows has dramatically developed into an industry that spend around millions of dollars while still turning a gigantic profit.

Movies are so popular because they are have most fascinating and are satisfied with illusion of people, for instance,we can enjoy the dinosaurs, spaceship, and something scary on screen, even something that we unbelievable.for these simple reason that abstract numorous people spent money to buy ticket to cinema,or buy some DVD to watch at home, people can relax themselves after heavy work, they will forget everything but the story in action on screen.it is must have been much easier to see a movie than to read a novel, they can involve the world and enjoy the impact on vision and hearing,to imagine that themself locate in the real world.

Furthermore, movies have magic power to let people involve in ficiton, they make dreams about love, inventure of terrible envoriments and so on,maybe you imagine yourself to the characater in the movie, eery breath the character takes, all seem to happen around, and clearly sensible.
On other hand, moves are so popular because people can comprehend somethings about another country, such as culture, economy, habit and so on,for instance,my favorite movie is "autobiography of napoleon",i did not konw about history of france, beside the military affairs,i have understanded the military affairs and the history of france,it helped me with study history.

In conlusion, movies are so popular due to they account for the sipirit of one country, also provide us a place and continue to bring us what we want to see in sight and what we want to feel in heart.
